Special game controllers are specialized computer input devices, designed for gaming purposes, and used to play games, which cannot work well with keyboard controls, the mouse, or a combination of the two. The different kinds of game controllers such as flight yokes, joysticks, gamepads, "virtual pedals" and so on , were invented to enhance the gaming and/or simulation experience.
Below we will describe the following basic categories of computer gaming devices: the mouse, the joystick, the gamepad, the steering wheel, joke, and so on.

Nostromo n30 Game Mouse: TouchSense™ technology from Immersion lets your n30 GameMouse transform digital information into physical sensations. In a game, it gives you realistic responses as you play. Feel gun blasts, your motorcycle’s impact on hitting the ground, or your car hitting a wall. It adds a something extra to your desktop, creating multiple vibrating sensations as you navigate desktop levels and menus, documents and web pages. N30 is especially designed as a precision gaming tool that will help and enhance gamer’s performance.

SpeedPad is adjustable
ergonomic gaming device with many programmable functions. Great for any game that normally would
use a keyboard
Joysticks:
Battle games, flight simulators, and other games requiring quick, reflexive movements are the ones
most enhanced by the use of a joysticks.
Joysticks come in
many shapes and sizes, from the simple hand grip with a few buttons to a contoured command center
for a full arsenal of virtual weapons. There are also special models developed for certain kinds
of game play. For example, some joysticks developed for flight simulation resemble the controller
in the cockpit of an airplane.

A video game consoles are an
interactive entertainment computers or computerized system.
The term is used to distinguish a machine designed for for playing
video games from a personal computer, which has many other functions. The seventh
generation of consoles is the current generation, that includes consoles
released since late 2005 by Nintendo, Microsoft, and
Sony. For home
consoles, the seventh generation began on November 2005 with the release
of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and continued with the release of Sony's PlayStation 3
on November 11, 2006, and Nintendo's Wii on November 19, 2006. Each new
console introduced a new type of breakthrough in technology. The Xbox 360
offered HD upscaling to 1080p, the PlayStation 3 offered full 1080p
high-definition graphics and Blu-ray Disc technology, and the Wii focused on
integrating controllers with movement sensors as well as joysticks The eighth
generation of video game consoles arguably started with the release of the
Nintendo 3DS on February 26th 2011, but has not officalily started until PS4,
Project Cafe, and the new Microsoft console are unveiled, which Sony aim, to
combat with the release of another eighth generation handheld, the NGP,
officially announced on January 27th 2011 and due to be released towards the
end of 2011. On April 25th, 2011, Nintendo announced on their Japanese website
that the successor to the Wii, reportedly codenamed "Project Café", is set to
be revealed at E3 2011, this would be their first eighth generation home video
console. There has been no news from either Sony or Microsoft in regards to
their contribution to the eighth generation home video console market, but
recent speculation suggests that both the "PlayStation 4" and the "Xbox 720"
will be released in the period 2014-2016.
It will be better to buy a computer gaming device
separately from a new computer,
if you do not know exactly what you want, because you should really get one
that suits your needs,
Usually the needed
information about specific hardware and software of the computer gaming device
is available from the manufacturer’s Web site, in the documentation, or
by contacting the maker directly,
It is desirable to try a joystick or a game pad before buying it or
to follow a recommendation of a friend with roughly the same size hands as yours.
SpeedPad can
best be described as a combination keyboard and game pad. The 8-10 keys on the
speedpad act as keys on a keyboard with the advantage of being easily
accessible and intuitively configured. It’s an innovative,
multipurpose tool that will lift your gaming experience to a whole new level.
Game pads:
Game pads are game controllers that are most often used to control the
movements of a character on the screen, such as in a martial arts simulation. Usually, the game pad has a directional pad (called a "D-pad"), four "action" buttons
(usually labeled A-D), and two fire buttons located on the front edge of the pad. The game pad is
held so your thumbs operate the D-pad and action buttons and the fire buttons are operated by your
index fingers.
Steering Wheels:
Steering wheels are gaming devices used in driving
games. All steering wheel controllers come with a wheel, accelerator, and brake; some
steering wheel controllers allow "manual" (i.e., gear-to-gear) shifting, while others only
have high-low or forward-reverse options. A whole range of racing wheels have been
developed to make the experience of driving more realistic. And with the development of force feedback you can feel the actual resistance particular
types of steering have. For example, riding a motorcycle is quite different than flying a helicopter or driving a car or
tank.
Yokes: Yokes, used primarily for flight simulations, are more
advanced versions of joysticks. Rather than a simple joystick, yokes often allow
two-handed operation and can be used to maneuver a game's aircraft in all three
dimensions.
Pedals
simulate a forward/backward slide motion for real flying. A pivot movement of each
pedal will work as differential braking (toe brakes) as well as gas and brake control for auto
racing simulators. If add the 3 axes of Pedals to the 5 axes Flight Sim Yoke, you
will have a high level of flight control.
3D Games
- a kind of computer games based on
three-dimensional graphics or computer games, which takes place in a simulated
three-dimensional space .
Nintendo
Consoles historically comprise: Color TV Game series, Nintendo
Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64,
Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii, Game & Watch
Microsoft Xbox 360
game consoles sets a new standard in console gaming with high-definition
video and surround-sound audio.
Sony
Playstation game
consoles (officially abbreviated PS) brand is a series of video game
consoles created and developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The brand
consists of a total of three consoles, a media center, an online service, a
line of controllers and a handheld as well as multiple magazines.
Arcade
game consoles are a coin-operated entertainment machines,
typically installed in businesses such as restaurants, pubs,
video arcades, and Family Entertainment Centers.
DVD
players is a device that plays discs produced under both the
DVD-Video and DVD-Audio technical standards. These devices were invented in
1994 and continue to thrive. However, with the release of high definition
media, sales and popularity are expected to drop in the upcoming years.
Additionally, most DVD players allow users to play audio CDs (CDDA, MP3, etc.)
and Video CDs (VCD). A few include a home cinema decoder (i.e. Dolby Digital,
Digital Theater Systems (DTS)). Some newer devices also play videos in the
MPEG-4 ASP video compression format (such as DivX) popular in the Internet.
